Anyone who adds cinnamon to their muesli or coffee daily should therefore stick with Ceylon cinnamon. It can be recognized by its fine, intricately rolled sticks and its mild flavor.

Folk medicine, tradition, research

What cinnamon has been more than just a spice for millennia, what distinguishes Ceylon from Cassia, and what research says about it.

View the portrait in the Botanical Archive →

Here's how to use it

Add it to porridge, coffee and chai, apples, pumpkin and lentils, and oriental rice dishes.
