Healing goals for nervous strain and inner restlessness

Stabilization of the autonomic nervous system (sympathetic/parasympathetic).

Stress reduction, reduction of nervousness and sensory overload.

Promoting inner peace, mindfulness and serenity.

Relief from difficulty falling asleep, rumination, and chronic tension.

Protection against stress-related illnesses (high blood pressure, exhaustion, etc.).

Support for depressive moods, anxiety, and exhaustion.

⚡ This is how your autonomic nervous system controls everyday life

Your nervous system constantly works between two opposing forces: the sympathetic nervous system, which puts the body in a state of alert and readiness, and the parasympathetic nervous system, which, via the vagus nerve, controls rest, digestion, and regeneration. In a healthy state, these two systems alternate flexibly depending on the situation.

However, under persistent stress, the sympathetic nervous system remains permanently activated, while the parasympathetic nervous system is barely involved. This imbalance not only exhausts the nerve cells themselves but also depletes magnesium – a mineral essential for nerve impulse transmission and relaxation. The result is a nervous system that never truly relaxes, even at rest.

The next section shows how this balance can be specifically restored through diet throughout the day.
